Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 2, 2026 · Last updated: October 2, 2026

1. Who we are

This policy covers echoforgex.com, run by EchoForgeX LLC (“EchoForgeX”, “we”, “us”). It explains what information the website collects when you visit it, contact us, download a whitepaper or comment on a post, and what we see when you interact with EchoForgeX on social media.

SignShield, SkyoutPG and ForgeDrops are separate websites with their own privacy policies.

2. What we collect

When you visit the site

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics, Jetpack Stats (from Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com) and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets two cookies that last up to 400 days. Jetpack Stats and Cloudflare Web Analytics do not set cookies. These services receive your IP address, browser details and the pages you view. Google Analytics runs only if you accept analytics cookies in the banner shown on your first visit. We see the results only as totals (for example, visits per page per day), not as a record of any one person.
  • Server and security logs. Our web server records each request: your IP address, the page, the referring page and your browser. These logs are kept for about 14 days. Our security software (Wordfence) also records visits, blocked requests and login attempts, for a limited period.
  • Content loaded from other services. Profile pictures next to authors and comments come from Gravatar (Automattic), which receives your IP address when your browser loads them.

When you use our contact form

  • Your name, email address, the product you’re asking about, and your message.
  • The page you sent it from, and the page that referred you there.
  • Spam screening. To tell people from bots, the form uses ActiveLayer, which collects characteristics of your device and browser and how the form was filled in (such as the timing of typing and mouse movement). ActiveLayer receives this, together with your submission, IP address and browser details. A cookie set by our form software (WPForms) gives your browser a random identifier that lasts up to 400 days.
  • Your message reaches us as an email, sent through our email provider (Hostinger).

When you download a whitepaper

  • Your name and email address, which whitepaper you asked for, and when. We email you the download link.
  • If you tick the box to receive new EchoForgeX research, we record that, with the wording you agreed to and when. We only send research emails if you ticked it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Downloading another whitepaper later does not sign you up again.

When you comment on a post

  • Your name, email address, website (optional), your comment, and your IP address and browser details. Your name, website and comment are public once approved. Your email address is never shown.
  • Comments are checked for spam by Akismet (Automattic) and ActiveLayer, which receive the comment, your name, email, website, IP address and browser details.
  • If you tick “Save my name, email, and website in this browser”, WordPress stores them in a cookie in your browser for about a year.
  • If you tick a “Notify me” box, your email address is added to a subscription list held by WordPress.com (Automattic), which sends you the notifications.

When you interact with EchoForgeX on social media

We publish posts to EchoForgeX’s own pages on social networks, including Facebook, Instagram and X. When you comment on one of our posts, we see your name or username and your comment, as the network shows them to any page owner. For Facebook and Instagram, an internal alert copies your name and the first part of your comment into our team’s chat (Discord) so that a person can reply. We also see totals such as reach, reactions and follower counts. We do not read your private messages through these tools.

3. How we use it

  • To answer your questions and send you what you asked for.
  • To understand which content is useful, from totals rather than individuals.
  • To keep the site secure and keep spam out.
  • To publish and moderate comments, and to reply to comments on our social posts.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies, and we do not load the Facebook pixel, the LinkedIn Insight tag or session-recording tools.

9. Visitors outside the United States

The site is hosted in the United States, and the services in section 4 are mostly US companies. If you visit from elsewhere, your information is processed in the United States.

10. Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our posts link to other websites, including our own products. Their privacy practices are their own; please read their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will say so on this page before it takes effect.
